Young & handsome
Miller is young and good looking as they come. Unfortunately he was diagnosed as being positive to the FIV virus which in reality does not mean a thing. It means we know he has the virus unlike other negative cats that can develop any cancer.
Positive cats must be strictly confined inside or with an enclosure. Existing cats in the house can be vaccinated against it but FIV can only be spread by deep bite wound, saliva entering the bloodstream. Twice yearly vet checks, good quality food, parasite treatment up to date.
Finally they are the most affectionate, loving cats to be found for some reason. Miller is receiving visitors in the Philadelphia enclosure. Miller came in the care at the LDH and was named Millie but when desexed he had a sudden sex change. He is a boy, promise.
