Septimus, Sep 2019, has it all. He is long haired, he is tabby and he is FIV positive. If I had my life over again I would surround myself with positive cats, they are out of this world. Most of these cats are males, having lived on the streets, fighting for territory, food, females and still they are all big teddy bears. Being positive means that their immune system is compromised so will need twice-yearly veterinary visits, good quality food and most of them do not develop the virus into aids, they are more likely to pass from other causes, just like a negative cat.
